Amber Tolbert

Amber is originally from South Carolina and is a proud graduate of The University of South Carolina with dual Master Degrees in Social Work and in Public Health. She is dually licensed in South Carolina (LISW-CP 10695) as well as North Carolina (C008417) as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  She has been married for 12 years and adores her three boys and two dogs.

Amber’s clinical experience includes all mental health settings and all ages specializing in family system, conflict, and relationship. Her expertise is working with clients on identity (sense of self), self-worth, numbing, anxiety, depression, family conflict, and codependency.

In the clinical setting, Amber is also a Clinical Supervisor in South Carolina and North Carolina.  She provides clinical licensure supervision to social workers that want to become licensed therapists. Amber is able to expose new clinicians to experiential therapy using a family systems approach which is not taught in graduate schools. 

As a female business owner of two companies and co-owner of a third, Amber also provides consulting services to support other female clinicians achieve their goals of owning their own private practice, or scale their current practice to a group practice. 

Amber’s clinical care is highly informed by her own recovery process as an Adult Child of an Alcoholic (ACA). She takes pride in living out her integrity not only in her clinical work, her leadership, but also in her own recovery.
